Our mission is to provide the highest level of treatment for all our patient’s dental needs. We focus on solving our patient’s dental problems by creating personalized road maps for sustainable and optimal solutions for their oral care. We are a general practice serving the needs of our patients. We also specialize in the restoration and rehabilitation of patients whose oral function has been diminished or disabled by worn, broken down teeth. And we care for patients who have memory impairment and dementia.
Since 1982 our practice has served patients all over the New York City metropolitan area. We are conveniently located in the mid-town west area of Manhattan.
Our goal is to empathically treat all patients without judgment about their dental condition. We do this by listening to your concerns, understanding your wants and needs, and then provide answers to your questions so you can make confident choices in your care. We have a long history of accommodating our patients with sensible solutions. The most important service we do is to conduct a thorough oral examination to diagnose those conditions that can lead to dental disease and disability.
We strive to develop mutual trust and understanding. Doing this allows us to fulfill our mission to provide optimal dental care and to meet and exceed your expectations.
Dr. Nathan Satler’s dental education started long before his entry to dental school. His father, grandfather, and an uncle were dentists. Each one, in his own way, as a mentor, contributed to Dr. Satler’s philosophy of dentistry. The culmination of all those years of professional experience has created the tenets of a vision-based belief system that places understanding a patient’s needs and wants as the essential key to providing optimal dental care. In essence, all patients, at any age, need a viable road map for their dental care.

Starting as an Engineering major at City College of New York, he went on to receive his D.D.S. degree from UMDNJ, The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He was a Captain in the US Army during the Vietnam war. He founded the Dr. Isaak Dental Group (NJ) in 1974, which to date has treated over 30,000 patients. In 1978 he founded the Denture Centers in New York City. He has also served as a consultant to Warner Lambert Pharmaceutical Company's Dental Products Division.
